"There are two kinds of photographers: those who compose pictures and those who take them. The former work in studios. For the latter, the studio is the world.... For them, the ordinary doesn't exist: every thing in life is a source of nourishment." - Ernst Haas

Hug Point is located on the Oregon Coast just south of the small community of Cannon Beach. It got it's name from the early settlers who used the beach as a road well before the construction of US-101. At this point the wagons had to "hug" the point at low tide in order to avoid being washed into the sea by the incoming waves. Canon 5D, Sigma 17mm - 35mm EX and circular polarizer (f22 at 1/500 sec.).
